Is this legal advice?
No. A lawyer writes you a binding legal opinion. We read your contract the way a senior colleague in your specialty would, telling you what it actually pays, what it costs, and where the leverage is. If you need a binding legal opinion, take our report to an attorney; you’ll save them an hour and yourself a few hundred dollars.

Should I still talk to an attorney?
For most first-year offers and standard hospital or group contracts, our read is what you actually need. If your contract has equity, partnership track, multi-state academic affiliation, or a foreign-trained licensure clause, take our report to an attorney after we’re done. You’ll know exactly what to ask, and the bill will be a fraction of starting cold.

All physician specialties, fellowship-trained or not. Benchmarks calibrated by specialty, training year, and metro. Hospitalist, primary care, surgical subspecialty, anesthesia, radiology, pathology, ED, and procedural and non-procedural fields equally.

Do you cover dentists, NPs, or PAs?
Right now, physician (MD/DO) employment contracts only. If your contract turns out to be outside our scope, we’ll let you know promptly and refund you.

Where is my contract stored?
Encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in the United States. Access is limited to the review team, and the analysis itself doesn’t need your name or address; redact what you can before upload. See full privacy & review process →

Do you train AI on my contract?
No. Third-party AI providers operate under business agreements that prohibit training on your data. Our team checks every report before it ships.

Can I delete my contract after delivery?
Yes. One click in your account, or email us. Deletion requests are honored on receipt; backups are purged on a regular schedule. Your contract and reports are retained until you request deletion or close your account.

What about my employer or recruiter?
We don’t contact them. Ever. We don’t share your name, the offer, or the analysis with anyone outside our review team. Your employer will never know you used us.

How long does it really take?
Within twenty-four hours from upload, with a final review built in. Sometimes within minutes if the contract is uncomplicated. If we’re running behind your requested deadline, we’ll let you know with a revised estimate before it slips.

How is the report delivered?
We email you when it is ready. The released report opens from your signed-in account and is downloadable as a PDF.

Can I follow up after I get the report?
Yes. One round of follow-up questions by email is included, usually used for “help me word the response email”. We typically reply within a business day.

What’s in the analysis?
Six domains: compensation structure (base + bonus + RVU), benefits and tail, non-compete and restrictive covenants, termination and notice, call burden and call pay, and red flags / unusual clauses. Each gets a structured finding with leverage rating and suggested redline.

Do I get a compensation benchmark?
Yes. Base, productivity threshold, and total compensation benchmarked against your specialty, training year, and metro. We show the percentile range and where your offer lands in it.

Is the negotiation language editable?
Every suggested redline is provided as exact email-ready phrasing. Copy, paste, send. We also include a softer alternative phrasing for early-stage candidates and a firmer one for second-position offers.

Multi-state contract?
We handle multi-state employment as long as licensure is in one primary state. True multi-state academic appointments may need an attorney for the cross-state non-compete. We’ll flag that and discuss options with you before proceeding.

Academic / partnership track?
Yes. Partnership offers are an underserved corner of physician contract review and we cover them. Equity-only offers (no W-2 employment component) are out of scope; we’ll refund promptly if your contract turns out to be one.

Locums or per-diem?
Yes. Same flat fee, slightly different review framework focused on cancellation, malpractice (occurrence vs claims-made), and credentialing timelines.
